Mary (Ideker) Loescke Aulwes was born Mar. 23, 1854 at Hanover, Germany. She and Henry were married Oct. 22, 1870. Mary and Henry had 13 children. Henry died as a result of injuries sustained in an accident from a runaway team of horses. They are buried at Hartford, SD.
Henry was born in Guttenberg, Iowa Oct. 25, 1847. He arrived in Dakota Territory April of 1882 and bought land in Wall Lake Township. November 1896 he was elected as Representative of Minnehaha Co. to the State Legislature and served one term.
Ehler August Dietrich Beckfield (b. Apr. 23, 1875 York Center, IL; d. Apr. 22, 1939 Hartford, SD) Tena Angelika Cruthoff (b. Oct. 31, 1884 Castelton, IL; d. Nov. 6, 1924 Sioux Falls, SD) Both buried Humboldt, SD. They were married Feb. 19, 1903 in Albert City, IA and had 4 children.

She married George Bruse (Bruce) of Hartford. She had 8 children all born at Hartford.
Cornelia Fowler Oakes and grandson, Robert Elvin Bruce.
Cornelia was the wife of Elihue I. Oakes of Hartford, SD. Robert Elvin Bruce was the son of George and Fannie Bethia Oakes Bruce. Robert was born July 19, 1892 and died Sept. 16, 1910 in Hartford of an illness.

John (Johannes) Casper Cassutt (1851-1937 from Falara (Fellers) Graubunden canon, Switzerland); wife
Barbara Catrina Fazendin Cassutt (first marriage in St. Anne's Catholic Church in May 1881)
Their children: Louis (1882), Thomas (1885), Christinia Mary (1886), Cora (1887), John Anthony (1889), Mathias ("Matthew" 1891), George Albert (1892), Veronica ("Frona" 1894), Anton ("Tony" 1896), William (1897). Three children did not survive. The family were Swiss Catholics and spoke Romanshe (ancient language older than Latin). Their port of entry was New Orleans in 1859 and located in Guttenberg, Clayton Co. Iowa.

Charlotte M. was the daughter of Henry and Mary Aulwes born Oct. 19, 1872 and died Jan. 25, 1932. John Joe was the son of Wilhelm and Sophie Matthies born June 7, 1870 and died Nov. 9, 1943. Both John and Charlotte were born in Iowa and lived all their married life in Hartford, SD where they are buried.
