Will Dailey came to Dakota Territory shortly after his marriage to Amelia Christianna Mallder in 1881 and settled at Lone Rock.  William Dunn homesteaded in Moody County.

Peter Frost was perhaps the oldest Swedish pioneer to settle in Clay County, Dakota Territory on October 4, 1869.
He was born January 7, 1803 in Langasjo Parish, Kronoberg Lan, Sweden. Peter emigrated to the United States on May 31, 1869. He died in Clay Co. on November 7, 1884 and is buried at the Dalesburg Lutheran Cemetery in Clay Co.
