John came to America with his family in March 1900. He was born Mar. 6, 1854 tin Pilsum, Germany and died Oct. Oct. 9, 1928 in Hartford, SD. He married Antje (Anna) Peters who was born Nov. 27, 1855 in Wybersum, Germany. She died May 30, 1896 and is buried in Pilsum, Germany.

Eisse Jansen Haan (b. Dec. 6, 1889 Pilsum, Germany, d. Jan. 25, 1968 Hartford, SD) He came with his father and family to the US in March 1900.
Millie Ella Matthies Haan (b. Jan. 25, 1898 Hartford, SD, d. Jan. 23, 1968 Hartford) They are both buried at Hartford, SD. They were married Nov. 22, 1916.
Sophie was born in Germany. She married Wilhelm M. Matthies. Wilhelm was born Jan. 7, 1837 in Germany and died April 6, 1922. They are both buried at Hartford, SD.
Jochim was born Aug. 3, 1843 and died July 1, 1913.. Friedericka was born in Doemitz, Mechklenburg, Schwerin, Germany, Mar. 4, 1848 and died Jan. 14, 1911.
(Friedericka was a sister to
Sophie Jahnke Matthies) They arrived in Minnehaha Co. between 1885 and 1887.
Patrick James & Regina McKittrick
on their wedding day in 1907.
Patrick was the son of Patrick & Mary Woods McKittrick. He was born Oct. 8, 1886 at Garretson, SD. He married Regina Johnson. Her family changed their last name to Gullickson. Patrick and Regina were married on the Gullickson farm. Regina died in 1914 and Patrick in 1964 at Santa Clara, CA.
