The monthly Norway Genealogy Interest Group (GIG) meets on Tuesday, Jan.28 (last Tuesday of month) at Grace Lutheran Church. The featured topic will be on DNA. All are welcome to attend - one does not have to be a member of SVGS.  Grace Lutheran Church is at 3300 E. 18th St. Enter in the lower level - north end.

Speaker is Lynette Trainer covering "How to use the US Gen Web". The business meeting will follow the speaker. Refreshments and treats follow the meeting. Guests are welcome along with members.

This meeting asks you to bring your toughest genealogy puzzle or roadblock to the group and collectively we will try and help you solve the problem. It will be a group discussion item.

Jeff Bockman will be the featured speaker at the 2020 seminar on Saturday, April 18th. 
Jeffrey Bockman is an experienced genealogy lecturer and writer. He is the author of Give Your Family a Gift That Money Can’t Buy / Record and Preserve Your Family’s History, a book that encourages people to record basic information and their interesting family stories, preserve documents and identify photographs to pass along their family history for future generations.
He was a former contributing editor for the former Everton’s Genealogical Helper and a former writer for the former Heritage Question magazine. His articles have also appeared in other publications.
