Pioneer Certificate Application Process

The Sioux Valley Genealogical Society has been issuing PIONEER CERTIFICATES to the direct line descendants of the pioneers who lived in Dakota Territory prior to statehood in November 1889. These beautiful, authentic certificates are suitable for framing. Our Society is attempting to collect information on every one of the pioneers in order to preserve our past history. If you would like to have your pioneer ancestor included, send a self-addressed stamped envelope along with a request for a Pioneer Certificate application.
