SVGS Meeting dates:

SVGS regular  meetings are the first Thursday of the month at 7 pm at the Old Courthouse Museum on 200 W. 6th St. We meet in the meeting room on the 2nd floor. There is an elevator in the building and a handicap accessible ramp outside on the north end of the building. Guests are welcome at our meetings.

Genealogy Classes to begin

SVGS will be starting Genealogy classes on Saturdays at the downtown SF library from 9:30 to noon.  Or when we get done if they finish early.

The Genealogy Library

Usually the Genealogical Society library is open from 12 to 4:00  M – F but it is a good idea to call the Old Courthouse Museum at 367-4210 and ask just to be sure. Volunteers staff the library and can answer questions or help researchers.
