What’s in a name? Where did it come from? How did it get there? And, by whom? Gnawing questions that took veteran storyteller-filmmaker, Rick Lingberg, on a 10,000-mile journey from his Clay County, South Dakota roots to Sweden and back to find some answers about his 19th century immigrant great-grandparents, Olaf and Brita Lingberg. He will be sharing what he discovered and how he did it at the Sioux Valley Genealogical Society’s monthly meeting on October 2 at 7:00 pm at the Old Courthouse Museum’s 2nd floor library located at 200 West 6th Street.
